“I am so happy with the outcome”

I had a large kidney stone in the lower pole of my kidney. A Urologist that I’ve been seeing for 16 years performed unsuccessful lithotrpsy twice. He refused to remove it laproscopic because of the position it was in.
I made an appointment with Dr Coutinho for a second opinion.
He advised me that it can be removed laproscopic. Three weeks later I was scheduled for the surgical procedure. He did it in two stages. The first, he placed a Stent because my ureters were to constricted so the scope couldn’t pass through.
Then two weeks later I returned for the laproscopic procedure.
Both were very successful.
I am so happy with the outcome.
That I’m referring my son to him as he also has a large kidney stone that lithotrpsy couldn’t break.
Dr. Coutinho is very professional and Courteous.He takes his time to listen and explains your options! His staff is also A+!
